A well-established accounting and auditing firm is looking for an experienced Monthly Accounts Clerk / Bookkeeper with strong bookkeeping and financial processing skills to manage multiple client accounts up to trial balance and support monthly reporting and compliance functions.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain multiple client bookkeeping records up to trial balance
Prepare monthly management accounts
Process and submit VAT and EMP calculations and returns
Perform ETI calculations and submissions
Conduct bank processing and reconciliations
Reconcile debtors and creditors accounts
Assist with handling client financial records and reporting
Support junior clerks where required
Ensure accurate and timely financial data processing and reporting
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with Sage and/or Xero advantageous
Experience with E-Filing and EasyFile advantageous
Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and financial processing
Ability to work up to trial balance
Knowledge of VAT, EMP, and ETI submissions advantageous
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
