Museum Officer (Job Grade 10.1)

Duties    
The primary role is:

• Facilitating public and academic enquiries regarding the collections;
• Undertaking research for exhibitions;
• Liaising with colleagues within the faculty and SU;
• Being responsible for maintenance of the collections and database, and the physical care and appropriate storage of the collections.

Job Requirements        

• At least a BSc or other relevant tertiary qualification.

Recommendation        
Knowledge and experience with:

• Regulations relating to the conditions and ethical work practices;
• Compliance to Occupational Health and Safety Act;
• Health Professions Act and National Health Act.
