National Academic Support Lead at Eduvos

Minimum qualification:

• Honours Degree in Education / Communication
• Masters’ Degree in relevant field will be preferable

Experience:

• At least three to five years’ experience in a similar role in the higher education environment

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• As the National Academic Support Lead, you will be primarily responsible for the following:
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to discuss and implement an academic support intervention plan for students with special needs and disabilities. 
• Coordinate the student at-risk tracking and monitoring process to achieve student academic success. 
• Monitor student progression and use the data to improve student progression.  
• Advise and coordinate the implementation of interventions for at-risk students.  
• Develop, coordinate, and ensure implementation of Academic Support Workshops / Curriculum and academic support intervention programmes, i.e., but not limited to Language proficiency Programmes, Supplemental Instruction, Bootcamps, and writing centres. 
• Query Management 
• Identify high achievers and coordinate excellence awards events. 
• Profile Students to implement appropriate interventions. 
• Conduct baseline assessments, to identify gaps and implement interventions. 
• Conduct data analytics and use the data to develop and ensure the implementation of appropriate intervention programmes. 
• Co-ordinate and ensure the implementation of the Orientation and Induction Programme per intake. 
• Develop and coordinate student surveys per block. 
• Upskill SAAs to support the National Academic Support Programme, ensuring implementation. 
• Coordinate the SRC Academic Portfolio and Class Representatives. 
• Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to improve student academic success.
