    National Key Accounts Manager - JHB

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the delivery of the Key Account Budgeted Sales and Profit targets.
    • Develop and implement sustainable customer relationship strategies at Head Office and store level thereby enabling sales growth.
    • Design, develop, implement and review key accounts plans with customers
    • Regularly review market trends and align key account strategies accordingly.
    • Design, develop, and implement a Promotional planner with customers.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of promotional activity within the customer base and use this analysis to improve our promotional effectiveness.
    • Work closely with the Category Manager to deliver industry leading Point of Sale initiatives for specific Key Account Customers.
    • Develop strong working relationships with internal personnel.
    • Ensure timely delivery of all ranging, promotional and point of sale initiatives for Key account customers.
    • Regularly spend time out at Customer Stores to identify new ranging and promotional opportunities.
    • Contribute to the delivery of a regular retail price audit in the Key Account Team.
    • Ensure that all relevant Key Account initiatives, activities and range developments are fully communicated to relevant internal stakeholders.
    • Contribute to the monthly Sales Forecasting process.
    • Monitor and manage all outsourced merchandiser activities. Provide on-going support to the Agents with regard to new product listings, promotional activity, prices and performance review criteria with Key Account customers.
    • Compliance to ISO 9001 / 14001 quality / environmental management systems & corporate Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) management system.  

    Experience & Role Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing
    • 3 years' sales experience    
    • Experience ideally in the FMCG environment
    • Knowledge of the Paint Market
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
    • Ability to develop new business and strong relationships with key customers
