    National Visual Merchandise Manager

    Main duties:

    • Design and implement a creative merchandising strategy.
    • Leading a Visual Merchandising team.
    • Creating impactful and exciting visual displays which showcase product, drive footfall and revenue.
    • Constantly focusing on innovation and creativity to ensure fresh concepts in terms of shopfitting and visual displays.
    • Initiating seasonal window concepts and instore merchandising.
    • Ensuring alignment to the brand’s marketing calendar and that all promotional and product themes are well highlighted and showcased in the store.
    • Ensuring themes are rolled out nationally and the various retail teams understand the seasons concepts and are able to execute along with your guidance.
    • Building effective working relationships with retail store management and staff to ensure the VM principles are maintained.
    • Keeping track of the performance of various styles of merchandise for the purpose of repositioning stock with the objective of improving sales of underperforming merchandise.
    • Develop a budget for seasonal campaigns.

    Requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate
    • A relevant qualification (diploma or degree done in visual and retail merchandising/retail management)
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a retail and visual merchandising environment within a senior/similar role (preferably in the décor/design industry)
    • Minimum 5 years’ senior management experience, managing/coaching teams within the visual merchandising environment.
    • Premium brand experience essential.
    • A keen interest in décor and interior design.
    • Broad knowledge of all the trends and keeping up to date with future trends.
    • A great eye for presenting our collections in an inspiring and commercial way.
