Network Planner (FTTH)
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors , Matric , National Diploma
- Experience 3 - 6 years
- Location Western Cape
- Job Field ICT / Computer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create quality Premise Data (PD), High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Drawings (LLDs), Splicing & Duct diagrams, Patch Plans (PP) and As Builts (AB)
- Planning done on time
- Planning done within budget
- Ensure compliance to client standards
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, and external contractors to align planning activities with project requirements.
- Capture project progress on CRM Tool (e.g. Quickbase, Fusion)
- Assist in the preparation of project costing, create BOQs, and rate cards to support commercial viability.
COMPETENCY LEVELS
- GIS Tools: Advanced
- GPON Design: Advanced
- BoQ / Costing: Intermediate
- Stakeholder Engagement: Intermediate
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Competent GIS/AutoCAD
- GPON split ratios
- Civil works knowledge
- Reporting
- MS Office (Intermediate Excel)
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma/Degree in Telecoms/IT/Engineering (Preferred)
- Fibre planning cert (Preferred)
- FOA CFOT (preferred)
- GIS short course (e.g. ESRI)
EXPERIENCE
- 3–6 years in FTTx planning
- Some on site experience preferred
