NSA Electrician at Nissan Motor Corporation

PURPOSE / DETAILS OF THE JOB

The purpose of an Electrician is to install, inspect and test electrical equipment, making sure

it is working properly and safely
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

•  Matric with and / equivalent plus Trade Test
•  Relevant National Diploma / N4 or Higher plus Trade Test
•  2 - 4 years’ experience in the Automotive Industry especially Electrical expertise

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Electrical- Wiring of electrical systems, general fault finding, test and connect all types of motors
• and control gear, install and program drives, certification of electrical systems.
• Pneumatic- Basic pneumatic parts identification, installation and fault finding
• Hydraulic- Basic hydraulic parts identification and fault finding
• PLC - Installation, commissioning, parts identification and fault finding including basic programming
• Safety- General Safety knowledge and proper use of PPE. Adhere to DQS standard

 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be punctual and be a good time keeper
• Conceptual : Must be hands-on and prefer to deal
• Must be able to make decisions & escalate appropriately
• High levels of assertiveness
