Nursing Manager at Mediclinic

Requirements:

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
• A relevant Management qualification will be an advantage.
• At least 5 years' professional experience in a tertiary healthcare institution.
• At least 2 years' management experience in a tertiary healthcare institution.
• Private hospital experience will be an advantage.
• Comprehensive experience with quality improvement processes and development of strategies to achieve excellence.
• Good knowledge and understanding of legislation impacting healthcare and the industry in general.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Scientific Nursing Process and ensures compliance within the hospital.
• Strong leadership and supervisory ability.
• The ability to remain objective, professional, productive and focused when under pressure.
• Competent in working with people by showing respect, listening and building team spirit.
• Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills.
• Displays good planning and organising skills.
• The ability to adapt and respond to change.
• Maintains a customer-focused mindset that acknowledges the value of the customer and sets high standards for quality.
