Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping individuals with physical or mental disabilities regain independence in their daily lives. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualised treatment plans, and provide therapy to improve patients' functional abilities. The successful candidate will be dedicated to helping patients overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine their needs, goals, and functional abilities
• Develop individualised treatment plans to address patients' specific needs
• Provide therapy to patients to improve their motor skills, cognition, and emotional well-being
• Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to perform daily activities
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques and strategies for improving their quality of life

Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience working with individuals with physical or mental disabilities
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and strategies
• Ability to evaluate patients and develop individualised treatment plans
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• -Sensory Integrated Therapy experience will be beneficial
