Our Therapy Group Practice at Nurture Montana in Gauteng is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team for our newly commissioned, 36-bed, physical-rehabilitation hospital in Montana,Gauteng. Nurture Health provides medical care, and acute and sub-acute rehabilitation treatment for people with a wide range of disabilities caused by disease or injuries.
These include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurological disorders, orthopaedic conditions, and other debilitating conditions and illnesses. REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
BSc Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy (community year completed)
Registered with HPCSA (independent practitioner) and Malpractice Insurance
Maintain CPD standing as required by HPCSA
Bobath / NDT training is beneficial
>5 years’ experience in a physical rehabilitation environment
Basic and intermediate wheelchair training is beneficial
Special interest and broad experience in orthopaedics, neurology (CVA/TBI and SCI)
and vocational readying
