Occupational Therapist - Worcester at Nurture Health

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current HPCSA registration and valid Malpractice Insurance
• Up-to-date CPD compliance
• Minimum of 3 years’ post-community service experience in a rehabilitation environment
• Basic training in seating assessment and prescription
• Clinical interest or experience in neurology, orthopaedics, and cognitive rehabilitation

Key Competencies:

• Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in report writing and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize workload
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and independently manage patients as an autonomous practitioner
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient management of individuals with disabling conditions
• Competence in developing customized treatment and care plans for patients
• Able to advise and support carers, colleagues, and support staff
• Willingness to participate in a rotational weekend and public holiday work schedule
