About the Role

• The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management, coordination and performance of security operations, ensuring compliance with client requirements, legislative standards and company policies while delivering exceptional service to clients.

What You Will Bring

Inherent Requirements for the Position (Non-Negotiable)

• Minimum of 2 years' physical guarding security management experience.
• NQF Level 4 qualification or SAQA equivalent.
• Valid PSIRA Grade A Certificate.
• Valid Firearm Competency Certificate.
• Valid National Key Point (NKP) Training Certificate.
• Valid AVSEC Level 3 Certificate.

Additional Demonstrable Requirements

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Sound knowledge of security legislation and industry best practices.
• Computer literacy and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and operational teams.
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage and oversee security operations across allocated contracts/sites.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, company policies and statutory regulations.
• Conduct operational audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage site performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain effective client relationships and ensure service excellence.
• Prepare and submit operational reports and performance metrics.
• Lead, coach and develop Site Managers and security personnel.
