About the Role

• We are seeking a Grade A-B Armed Officer to play a critical role in maintaining safety and security for our clients and their assets. In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out armed security duties with a focus on vigilance, response, and assurance in high-risk environments. You will also be required to possess a valid driver’s license to support operational needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points for unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and security breaches, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation of incidents and events.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of firearms and abide by all safety protocols.
• Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures.
• Uphold a professional demeanor and represent the organization positively while interacting with clients and the public.

Requirements

• Valid Grade A-B Psira Certificate.
• Proven track record in armed security, particularly in high-risk environments.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Firearm License in Handgun, Shot Gun and Rifle 
• Business purpose competence 
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High level of physical fitness and ability to handle stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in first aid, conflict resolution, or emergency response.
• Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment or asset protection field.
• Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems.
