Operations Manager at Core Group

Key Responsibilities

Process Optimisation

• Define, design, and regularly review detailed SOPs, workflow processes, quality controls, and performance measurement systems.
• Develop and enhance control systems to minimise costs, eliminate waste, and mitigate risks in a high-value environment.

Capacity Planning & Performance Measurement

• Develop and implement capacity plans to support current and future market demand.
• Set and track clear weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance targets.
• Support technical and administrative operations by optimising processes and increasing throughput.

Process Management

• Oversee and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and adaptability.
• Proactively manage bottlenecks and constraints.
• Identify risks and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Continuously assess and evolve operational capabilities, capacity, and resources in line with business growth.

Logistics & Resource Management

• Manage logistics operations and the procurement of essential components.
• Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, and cost analyses.
• Oversee the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

Team Leadership

• Lead and support warehouse, administrative, and technical teams in a high-paced environment.
• Foster a culture of high performance and accountability among team members.

Qualifications & Experience

• A qualification in Business Operations, Logistics, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in warehouse management, production, technical operations, or process optimisation.
