Operator Support at PPC Africa

• To attend to equipment in any designated area in the Packaging & Logistics plant, as well as competently drive a forklift

Minimum Requirements    
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• Grade 12 with mathematics or accounting
• Valid driver’s license will be an advantage

MINIMUM REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Operator Support experience
• Experience of driving applicable mobile equipment

REQUIRED OTHER/BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

• Numerical skills
• Be a self-motivated team member
• Must be willing and able to work shifts
• Proven ability to work independently
• Adherence to deadlines
• Good interpersonal and organisational skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail essential

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Adherence Achieve & optimise production unit output targets
• Minimize quality non- conformances
• Minimise environmental non- conformances
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Reporting production information
• Achieving loading/off-loading turnaround targets
• Vehicle/equipment operated competently
• Minimised vehicle operating costs and vehicle maintenance costs
