Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

• Interpreting / providing input to translate business requirements into definitions and specifications.
• Analysing / evaluating required system enhancements.
• Analysing existing systems and interfaces for modification / improvement purposes.
• Participating in the process design or redesign
• Translating business / user requirements / processes into less complex system design.
• Designing less complex system enhancements.
• Changing systems specifications based on testing problems / changing requirements.
• Designing interfaces with other systems.
• Providing input to deployment plans based on designs.
• Developing system test plans for system and integration testing.
• Performing systems testing and integration testing.
• Managing the creation and hand-over of the system administration procedures.
• Participating in the post-implementation reviews for completed projects.
• Resolving user queries and providing functional guidance.
• Ensuring the stability of the existing systems environment.
• Integrating with relevant business and IT teams.
• Providing system input to design of user training material.
• Providing operational support to the business area.
• Providing knowledge transfer and support to team members.
• Developing / maintaining all relevant SDLC documentation.
• Documenting, publishing and maintaining system design and all interfaces with other systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant IT Degree / Diploma

Relevant Skills / Experience:

• 3 - 5 years +  relevant experience.
• Knowledge of relevant methodologies.
• Experience in Financial Systems (Oracle E-Business Suite) would be advantageous.
• SQL experience preferred.
