    Paid Media Manager

    Role Description

    Looking for a passionate and talented paid media manager to join a dynamic team in the short-term insurance sector. The ideal candidate would need to plan, develop, track and report across paid search and display channels as well as effectively manage and optimize each channel. Candidates must possess a firm grasp of all primary paid media platforms and have strong targeting and re-targeting capabilities. Additionally, candidates must have strong analytical skills with a proven ability to analyse, report and provide meaningful and actionable insights on campaign data. The role requires you to be comfortable managing meetings and presenting reports and performance updates.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing and implementing campaign plans and optimising to achieve key performance metrics by brand
    • Work closely with all paid media partners: Google & Affiliates
    • Maximise performance across paid media channels through effective optimisation strategies
    • Conduct regular keyword analysis and identify trends, data patterns & opportunities
    • Ongoing audit of search, display and social channels for each brand and provide insights as to how ROI can be increased
    • Provides accurate campaign performance reports and analysis on a daily/weekly & monthly basis
    • Understand and manager creative campaigns to improve ad performance and quality CTR’s
    • Responsible for Google Ads budget allocation, planning and ROI reporting
    • Work with designers or developers to optimize landing pages for optimum quality scores and create branding of banners etc. for key data capture
    • Optimise paid media campaigns, landing pages, quality score, and conversion rates
    • Implement recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, and other facets of paid search in accordance with brand objectives
    • Ensure evaluation and tracking to monitor campaigns and A/B testing setup and tracking is in place
    • Contribute to campaign performance reports, using data to tell stories and provide actionable insights for team members as well as marketing managers and the wider digital team

     

    Requirements

    • Grade 12, SAQA* accredited equivalent
    • Matric level mathematics
    • Google Ads Certified essential (GMP certification advantageous)
    • Related Marketing degree

     

    Essential experience:

    • Minimum 6 – 8 years’ hands on experience within a PPC campaign manager environment
    • 6-8 years digital marketing experience
    • Experience in the financial services vertical and e-commerce

     

    Knowledge of:

    • Google Ads platform
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Data Studio
    • Facebook Business Manager
    • Advanced Microsoft Office
