    Part Time (40%) Fixed Term (2 year contract) Lectrurer

    Department Description        
    The Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology has well-equipped laboratories and facilities with collaborative ties with local industry to support its research output. The Division of Clinical Pharmacy within the Department is looking for a Part-Time Lecturer (40%) to make a contribution to the research, teaching and course development activities of the division. A competitive package is offered. This is a two year contract position.
            
    Key responsibilities include the following:

    • Research and innovation in all aspects of Clinical Pharmacy
    • Lecturing and Supervision of postgraduates on the part-time MSc(Med) Clinical Pharmacy degree (a series of evening classes) and workplace-based teaching and     learning
    • Administrative duties in the Department and Responsible Pharmacist at Trinity Pharmacy
    • Course Development and Teaching in Clinical Pharmacy

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of a Master’s degree
    • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching Clinical Pharmacy at a tertiary level
    • Research and student supervisory experience.

    Preferences:

    • A keen interest in Clinical Pharmacy course development, research and publications
