Part-Time Esports Coach at Tshwane University of Technology

Key performance areas:

• Develop and implement technical, tactical, and strategic training plans technical coaching and skill development.
• Conduct performance analysis (VOD reviews, stats tracking) and provide structured feedback Mentorship and psychological support.
• Foster team cohesion, communication, and a positive, inclusive team culture.
• Ensure player compliance with academic requirements.
• Prepare teams for competitions.
• Support athlete development

Minimum Requirements:

• University/tertiary institution coaching experience
• USSA coaching experience.
• Regional and national tournaments coaching experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Computer Literacy.
• Basic first aid qualification level 1.
• Safeguarding essentials certificate.
• Code 8 or 10 Driver’s license.
• No criminal record.

Experience:

• 3 years coaching experience at USSA, Regional, Provincial, National or International level.

Knowledge & skills:

• Be assertive and professional.
• Highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Responsible for teamwork and team building or management.
• Leadership attributes.
• Ability to manage/communicate effectively with players and administrators.
• Thorough knowledge of football structures and policies of IFBB and BBSA.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• The nature of work requires working on weekends
