Job Description

• This is a remote position.
• Contributing to the financial evaluation and growth of a growing self-storage organisation within the United States market, this part-time remote position focuses on the meticulous underwriting of real estate opportunities. Working approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, the successful candidate will provide the analytical oversight necessary to assess risk, evaluate property viability, and support strategic investment decisions.
• Operating in an independent capacity, this role serves as a foundational layer for transactional accuracy and portfolio management. The position offers a flexible, remote environment suited for a disciplined professional with dedicated expertise and who is able to work between 1pm - 5pm in South Africa. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial underwriting and risk analysis for self-storage real estate acquisitions and assets.
• Evaluate market data, property performance metrics, and financial statements to determine investment viability.
• Build and maintain accurate financial models to project returns and support strategic investment decisions.
• Deliver clear insights and data-driven recommendations regarding property valuations and structural risks.

Requirements
Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Real Estate Underwriter, specifically within the United States property market.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability to commit to approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
