Part-Time / Half-Day Bookkeeper at Helderberg Personnel

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bookkeeping up to trial balance.
• Capture and process financial transactions accurately on accounting software, in line with firm standards.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts, ledgers, and journals.
• Prepare and update spreadsheets in Excel.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.
• Assist with VAT returns, PAYE, and other statutory submissions.
• Support senior accountants with financial reporting and ad-hoc tasks.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of assigned work.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with ability to work up to trial balance.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and reliable, with a professional approach.
• Preferably residing in or near Somerset West.
