Part-time Lecturer: Afrikaans First Additional Language (Department of Foundation Phase, Education Faculty, Mowbray) at Cape Peninsula University of Technology

Job Purpose

• The objective is to fill the position of AFRIKAANS First Additional Lecturer in the FP Department with a part-time staff member with expertise in this area (at a rate of R275 per hour).
• The successful candidate will teach Afrikaans FAL to Second Year students for 4 periods per week. 
• This part-time contract will not exceeding 24 hours per month at a rate of R275 per hour

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A relevant Master’s degree 
• At least two (2) years’ relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five (5) years’ relevant teaching experience at school level
• A teaching qualification 
• Specialized knowledge of teaching Afrikaans
