Part Time Supervisor for Early Childhood Experience- Mpumalanga at ADvTECH

Job Purpose:

• The supervisor role will be required to observe student teachers that are studying the Higher Certificate in early childhood care and education qualification at The IIE supervisor is required to visit a student teacher once at a particular ECD centre. The observation will be for one lesson in the age group 2-4 years. The supervisor is required to provide developmental feedback and support the student teacher through a 3-week ECD based work integrated learning.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Education specializing in Early Childhood Development (ECD)/ Foundation Phase OR Postgraduate Certificate in Early Childhood Development (ECD)/ Foundation Phase and the undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification must include a focus on Early Childhood Teaching/Foundation Phase Teaching

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years teaching experience in the associated phase (Foundation Phase or Early Childhood Experience) in which they will supervise students.
