    Partner Dev Mngr (Healthcare)

    Key job responsibilities
    This role requires your business and industry expertise to help us position AWS as the technology platform of the future.

    As a Partner Manager, you’ll help execute on our strategy to build mind share and assist adoption of Amazon’s infrastructure web services including Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon SimpleDB, Amazon SQS across our strategic business partners in South Africa often working at CXO level.

    You will be driving executive and field relationships with leading partners and impacting on Public Sector AWS adoption.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these accounts
    • Creating and articulating compelling value propositions around AWS
    • Driving overall customer adoption, and interacting seamlessly with Public Sector customers and AWS team members across services

    The South African healthcare team is focused on growing our foundational healthcare practice with earning customer trust and growing existing and develop new customer revenue base.

    We aspire to establish ourselves as a trusted partner and innovator for healthcare by developing thought leadership for equitable access to care through the use of technology by focusing on patient driven care outcomes.

    Another key focus area is to educate customers on our unique "AWS for health" value proposition that is centered around digital modernization of infrastructure and mission critical applications for both public and private healthcare customers.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Significant Partner management or business development experience in the software or technology industry.
    • Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging or disruptive technologies like open source software, virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models.
    • Program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers and partners.
    • A proven ability to influence others, using data-driven analyses.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge and understanding of the local healthcare market conditions in both public and private healthcare customers.
    • Experience in working with Health-Techs or Startup industry experience would be advantageous.
    • Experience in software engineering and/or product management would be advantageous.
