    Partner Growth Associate, South Africa

    About The Role
    The Partner Growth Associate is a unique opportunity to have a high influence on the Uber Eats Sub-Sahara Africa Strategy. Uber Eats is looking for an experienced individual who can collaborate with the largest partners on Uber Eats in South Africa!

    This role calls for a combination of relationship management, business and marketing strategy, executional excellence, communication and problem solving skills. Further, as Uber Eats remains a fast paced environment, we are looking for a highly adaptable candidate who will be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, loves working with partners/clients and thrives in a startup culture!

    This role will support and lead some of the most valuable partnerships for Uber Eats in South Africa. The incumbent will be in charge of incubating new initiatives and executing on strategies, campaigns and tactics to ensure Uber Eats and our partners hit their growth goals. We would love someone who has experience working across a number of different stakeholders, projects, campaigns and has the ability to switch between long-term strategic initiatives one moment and to tactical actions the next.

    What You'll Do

    • Growth: Develop plans in conjunction with the partners to grow their business through variation of different strategies, projects and campaigns.
    • Analytics: Use data-driven decision making to understand the performance of initiatives to ensure effective prioritization of those with the highest return on investment. Critical to be comfortable and have experience working with data.
    • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and handle a number of critical external partners.
    • Marketing strategic skills & creative thinking: Experience in brand marketing or campaign management in order to strategize and develop high impact initiatives and campaigns that will drive growth for these partners.
    • Project Management: Strong organizational, execution focused and time management skills are important.
    • Build tools and processes: Use analytical ability combined with operational rigor to build tools and processes to drive forward partnership important metrics.

    What You'll Need

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of impactful work experience in relationship/partner management, strategy, business development or brand marketing experience.
    • Desire to work in a fast paced, high impact environment - ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and a collaborative attitude.
    • Background/experience in brand or campaign marketing.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience in Data Analytics is preferable.
    • Project management skills - strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Technical expertise - analytical knowledge and experience required - capable to run analysis and/or understand data and transform it into relevant insights.
    • Problem solving - Being able to tackle issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic, common sense and data. Identifying the root cause of a problem as opposed to focusing on the symptoms.
    • Strong presentation skills and solid understanding of Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc).
