    Partner Marketing Manager - Cape Town

    This Partner Marketing Manager role is responsible for creating strategies that inform activities to drive growth and retention through our accountant and bookkeeper partner channel, along with assisting in the delivery of any projects and campaigns.
    You will also be responsible for implementing GTM strategies and campaigns which generate market share and revenue growth in the Partner segment. You will lead, control and report on all marketing activities in your remit including collaborating with external and internal agencies to deliver on our goals.

    You will lead marketing and growth activities for Partners, with a strong focus on partnerships and sponsorship, ensuring that we are growing our revenue and engagement with these Partners. Managing our Partner marketing budget you'll ensure we choose the right partnerships with an optimal mix of brand affinity and sales opportunities.

    • Develop the Partner strategic marketing plan and tactical campaigns in consultation with key stakeholders, demonstrating alignment to business objectives, innovation and competitive environment, to drive growth for the Partner segment
    • Lead our Partner marketing strategy to build and nurture key partnerships, communities and sponsorships, monitoring and reporting on performance regularly
    • Brief agencies as required and act as project lead, budget control and regular reporting throughout the project
    • Monitor competitor activity and keep informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect and impact activity plans
    • Drive the strategic planning for and management of integrated campaigns
    • Act as a business partner with sales leads to inform planning and programme activity
    • Oversee all partner channel touch points to ensure consistency in content and experience
    • Provide relevant insight from analysis of programme results to inform performance or budget optimisations
    • Manage the repository of learnings/outcomes from each campaign to improve future strategies
    • Publish findings across the marketing team and broader business
    • Partner with PR, events and voice of customer teams to support increasing Xero’s visibility in the partner channel

    What you'll bring

    • Experience in creating GTM strategies to launch new initiatives and partnerships
    • Proven experience working with sales
    • Significant experience of marketing campaigns to existing customers
    • Marketing experience in tech or SaaS
    • Tech savvy with a good understanding of Salesforce
    • Proven experience in the creation and development of integrated campaign strategy, positioning and messaging
    • Proven ability to work within CRM tools like Salesforce and analyze results for improved KPIs
