Job Advert Summary    

• We are seeking a skilled Parts Storeman to join our team at our Rola VW Malmesbury dealership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the movement, storage, and retrieval of parts and materials in our facility. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Also ensuring that the workshop flow is not interrupted or clients inconvenienced due to stock-outs on parts and /or materials. The incumbent must ensure that the relationships with all stakeholders are maintained through proper administration and timeous payments. The incumbent must also ensure that parts and materials are kept in a safe and clean environment

Salary structure:

• Basic monthly salary

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
• Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in a parts/material handling role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts and materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using computerised inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Clear criminal record
• Valid drivers lisence

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and materials against purchase orders.
• Properly label, tag, and store parts in designated locations within the warehouse or storage area.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Prepare parts and materials for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and meet customer requirements.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
