Day-to-day payroll administration on managed service (expat payroll)
Meeting all day-to-day statutory and business compliance requirements
Monitoring of payroll KPI’s through buddy, Snow and SharePoint
Conduct regular audit on data integrity to align with processes and policies
Investigate and correct any errors in the case of system or process issues
Preparing monthly payrolls according to schedule, preparing documentation to support monthly approval by Payroll Lead/Payroll controller, accurately and on time
Management of payroll reporting and weekly EFT payments
Ensuring that segregation of duties and data protection standards are met
Providing training to payroll administrators to ensure understanding and continuous capability building
Working with internal and external audit teams to ensure that systems and processes meet best practice to mitigate risk
Supporting process and systems relating to proper filling of payroll documentations including the payroll mailbox
Providing monthly details reports pertaining to payroll KPI’s for tracking, measurements, and analysis
Participating in payroll related projects
Identify, analyze, and resolve payroll queries as they are escalated through BP’s, managers, and employees
Serve as a backup to payroll administrators as a when needed
Ad-hoc payroll related duties
Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Finance background is advantageous)
5+ years of experience in payroll processing in Africa on a zone scale. Preferably experience on a multi country payroll environment.
Sound knowledge on Personal Income Tax, Wage Tax and Social Security regulations in the different countries of Africa Zone.
Sound knowledge of payroll accounting, payroll compliances and audits.
Fulltime bachelor’s degree (accounting/finance background is a plus)
Thrives in a global environment, working flexibly where required.
Must be fluent in English.
Proficiency in using MS Office tools (MS Outlook, Teams, Excel etc.).
Experience in HR systems preferably SAP and Payspace
