    Packaging Artisan - Prospecton Brewery

    Operational Support:

    • Provide specialist support to the shift-based teams during operations. This will include standby and day shift support.​
    • Where requested, assist as a functional expert in problem solving.
    • Where requested, provide guidance and advice to the shift-based teams on machine operation, machine fault finding and correct responses to machine failure modes.
    • Where requested, provide coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer of machine operation to shift based teams.
    • Assess Operators and Artisans ability to carry out tasks.
    • Take part, as functional expert, in regional and central office plant optimization trials. Adhere to work practices that support shift-based teams.

    Maintenance:

    • Take part in maintenance planning meeting, contributing suggestions and clarifying work required.
    • Carry out work during the planned, routine and opportunity maintenance window in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule issued by the Planner where scheduled work cannot be completed, feedback to the Maintenance Planner for direction. This may involve rescheduling the work or prioritizing outstanding work.
    • Assist fellow team members in the execution of their tasks in during planned maintenance windows.
    • Complete any administration and SAP tasks, SIGGA, Problem Terminator in support of planned maintenance​
    • Partake in maintenance postmortems to feedback problems, opportunities and learnings from maintenance activities

    Maintenance:

    • Carry out Autonomous Operations as per requirements Partake in cleaning, lubrication and inspection in accordance with the maintenance schedule issued by the Maintenance Planner must be resolved using the appropriate problem-solving techniques.
    • Carry out routine maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule where problems have been uncovered during routine maintenance (where required, additional resources may be called in to assist).
    • Verify that where running repairs have been carried out, this has addressed the problem.
    • Complete the administration tasks relating to any running repairs has carried out (this includes all SAP & SIGGA, Problem Terminator inputs)
    • Where running repairs cannot be carried out, communicate this to the Maintenance Planner to ensure the work is planned into the next planned window.​

    Problem Solving:

    • Assist fellow team members to resolve problems on request Take part, as functional expert, in AB reports on request.​
    • Where necessary, call-in additional resources to assist in problem solving or escalate to the Packaging Engineer and the Performance and Continuous Improvement Manager for direction.
    • Analyze machine performance, conduct loss and waste analysis and develop action plans to improve performance.​

    Housekeeping and Safety:

    • Always operate in a safe manner, and identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these may be corrected​
    • Carry out work according to the work instructions and adhere to appropriate SAB policies and procedures and VPO Standards.
    • Carry out housekeeping tasks and apply 5S principles during the execution of duties.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Trade Tested Electrical
    • Minimum N3 Electrical Engineering 
    • 2 years' experience highly advantages

    CXC Reporting Associate

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Business analysis and reporting
    • Insights and recommendations.
    • Collaboration with Team Leaders & Ops Managers

    • Provide ongoing support to the Team Leaders and CXC teams by delivering weekly insights and analyses to optimize sales performance.
    • Proactively identify weekly opportunities or issues within CXC operations, enabling timely resolution and maximizing revenue potential.
    • Evaluate standard reporting packs, offering strategic recommendations to Team Leaders and Ops Managers for enhanced performance.
    • Generate and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing sales performance metrics at the individual sales representative level, encompassing volume, pricing, retention, BEES (Brand Equity and Engagement Score), trade schemes, availability, calling activity, promotions effectiveness, and scorecards.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • BCom degree or relevant 3-year qualification
    • Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel skills a must
    • Experienced in reporting set up, analytics and project management
    • SAP experience advantageous
    • Data warehousing automation experience advantageous

    Safety & Environment Controller - Alrode Brewery

    Key Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring compliance to the applicable Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental legislation
    • To monitor and advise on the implementation of the VPO Safety and Environment Pillars in the plant and associated wet depot / warehouse
    • Ensure workplace hazards are identified and communicated to all staff
    • Track leading Safety and Environment KPI’s and support interventions to improve
    • Promote awareness of occupational safety and environmental awareness through the VPO Safety and Environment program
    • Conduct investigations into incidents together with line managers identifying root cause and proposing both corrective and preventative actions
    • Ensure induction of both employees and contractors take place in accordance with standards
    • Ensure the safe execution of capex projects and support safe work practices where required
    • Drive closure of investigations, safety and environment gaps and legal compliance in the plant
    • Ensure the site is adequately secured and the contracted security provider complies with standards
    • Identify safety, environment and legal training needs, conduct training, arrange and co-ordinate where required
    • Develop and maintain documentation such as SOP’s, as well as maintenance of manuals, policies and procedures as related to safety and environment

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Education: BSc/Btech
    • Training: 12 months on the job training
    • Possess qualification in Safety Legal compliance
    • Experience: 2-3 Years in a Safety and/or Environment related position

    Payroll Analyst - HQ Sandton

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    • Day-to-day payroll administration on managed service (expat payroll)
    • Meeting all day-to-day statutory and business compliance requirements
    • Monitoring of payroll KPI’s through buddy, Snow and SharePoint
    • Conduct regular audit on data integrity to align with processes and policies
    • Investigate and correct any errors in the case of system or process issues
    • Preparing monthly payrolls according to schedule, preparing documentation to support monthly approval by Payroll Lead/Payroll controller, accurately and on time
    • Management of payroll reporting and weekly EFT payments

    Minimum Requirement:

    • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing in Africa on a zone scale. Preferably experience on a multi country payroll environment.
    • Sound knowledge on Personal Income Tax, Wage Tax and Social Security regulations in the different countries of Africa Zone.
    • Sound knowledge of payroll accounting, payroll compliances and audits.
    • Fulltime bachelor’s degree (accounting/finance background is a plus)
    • Thrives in a global environment, working flexibly where required.
    • Must be fluent in English.
    • Proficiency in using MS Office tools (MS Outlook, Teams, Excel etc.).

    BDR 2 - SAB George Depot

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    Customer Development:

    • Manage and build customer relationships with AB InBev Customers. Formal On-Consumption Outlets.
    • Drive weekly customer calls per outlet to build effective partnerships and resolve customer issues.
    • Ensure all customer master data is input, current, correct and maintained.
    • Achieve customer sales volume targets.
    • Ensure AB InBev is the preferred supplier for Formal On-Consumption customers.
    • Grow Market Share throw world-class product category management.
    • Ensure merchandising (visibility of the brands in terms of POS and Chillers) in the customers and retail outlets.
    • Closely monitor actions of the competition.

    AMPPS Delivery:

    • Complete and influence the AMPPS survey by delivering on every targeted plan; availability; merchandising; price; promotions; Space Monitor volumes by outlet to ensure 100% availability of key brands and packs through forward planning.
    • Manage stock rotation to ensure 100% availability.
    • Drive the effective execution of selective merchandising implementation in the consumption and purchase zones as per the In-Trade Execution Guidelines (ITEG).
    • Negotiate and execute Trade execution elements in all outlets.
    • Implement National and Regional promotion campaigns throughout the year.
    • Ensure effective positioning of brands by tracking and monitoring competitive cold and visibility space to drive maximum volume growth.

    Asset Management:

    • Manage AB InBev refrigeration assets by driving governance and compliance for the SAB audit.
    • Manage all AB InBev assets in the outlets including permanent merchandising and signage.
    • Ensure AB InBev products are stocked in fridges as per ITEG.
    • Conduct asset verification surveys (Fridges, etc.).
    • Assist customers with Model stock system to manage stock replenishment and minimize stock outs.
    • Manage stock rotation and quality.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Minimum requirement of grade 12.
    • Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (Sales/Marketing qualification preferred).
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a sales/marketing/FMCG environment.
    • Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license.
    • Basic computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office.
    • Local area knowledge is a requirement.
    • Ability to work in a flexible working environment (working on weekends).
