Job Description

• Delivers line-specific training of Process Technicians and supports FLMs in fulfilling the training and development requirements and needs of front line employees.
• Implement function Starfleet processes and feedback to site leadership on the progress in compliance on No-debate scorecards, training trackers and related plant action plans.
• Establish opportunities to improve productivity by driving for innovation in equipment and operating methods/practices and provide site leadership with proposals.
• Assess the processing line and advise the Plant Engineer, Maintenance manager and Scheduler on priority of work and planned maintenance schedule.
• Provide support and expertise on boil-out schedules and submit specific requirements to the Food safety specialist and shift teams.
• Develops business cases, Capex proposals and supports projects that enhance productivity, capacity, flexibility, quality and EHS.
• Proposes changes/improvements to the processing facility where Safety and Consumer Risk Protection is compromised.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 5 years in an FMCG production environment
• Matric
• Degree or Diploma in Production Management
• Certified Site Expert Trainer
• Knowledge of Plant Specifications (IPS, GPS, Doritos, Fritos & Softs Processing)
• Sound technical skills
• Problem solving skills
• Info Systems: must be able to document and track info & understand production systems
• Safety Awareness: must demonstrate awareness to personal and others safety in area of responsibility
• Technical knowledge of flexible processing material
