Performance & Implementation Analyst at Old Mutual

This role is individually accountable for designing, producing and analysing customised investment performance reports for internal and external clients. Day to day oversight of performance and implementation functions

Key Responsibilities will include amongst others the following:

• Responsible for complex performance calculations and attribution analysis and commentary.

• Designs and produces customised performance reports for boutiques.

• Generate, analyse and use of Statpro reports

• Calculates ex-post risk, risk-adjusted performance measures and other applicable statistical measures.

• Calculates performance-based fees.

• Prepares performance-related material for client feedbacks, tenders and marketing initiatives.

• Analyses competitor returns and structures.

• Assist in the research, analysis and development of new products.

• Assistance with implementation of new products and liaising with other teams involved in delivering new products.

• Responsible for on-going Global Investment Performance Standards compliance.

• Deals with a wide range of performance-related queries from external and internal sources.

• Continuously researches and assesses new processes for performance measurement and evaluation.

• Review daily asset manager  instructions

• Produce and review rebalance instructions

• Oversight of day to day activities

• Involvement in  broader Multi-Manager team projects

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

• Degree with Stats/Maths.

• Understanding & knowledge of financial markets, performance standards & methodologies.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• 3yrs relevant experience.
