Plant Engineering Manager at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for an Engineering Manager to be based at a Mine in the Northern Cape!

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all engineering activities to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of plant and mobile equipment in line with production targets.
• Ensure full compliance with MHSA requirements, statutory appointments and engineering standards, driving a strong safety and risk management culture.
• Plan, execute and control maintenance strategies (planned, preventative and breakdown) using CMMS to maximise asset availability and performance.
• Manage engineering CAPEX projects from concept to commissioning, including budgeting, contractor selection, execution and governance.
• Lead, develop and hold engineering teams and contractors accountable for performance, delivery, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• GCC Mines and Works
• 10 years’ experience in a Mining environment
