    Practice Consultant - Wealth Advisory

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Business Commerce, Management or Operations qualification NQF6/7

    Experience:

    •  5 to 10 years financial services industry or related in a similar role

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of the financial services industry
    • Knowledge of the Wealth Advisory target segment and its key drivers
    • Knowledge of managing, developing and motivating people
    • Knowledge of managing business efficiencies, processes and compliance
    • Knowledge of the PPS business structure, product range, processes and systems
    • A sound understanding of the insurance and asset management industry
    • Working knowledge of core regulatory environment impacting Wealth Advisory – i.e.,
    • FAIS/COFI, FICA, AML, PPR, ECTA, Long Term Insurance Act. 
    • Strategic thinking skills

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • To develop, implement and enforce adherence to standard processes and protocols to ensure seamless administration of new business and after sales service. 
    • Develop functional unit business plans for both the life and non-life insurance business to contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives of the Wealth Advisory function.
    • To build sound long-term sustainable relationships with Wealth Managers and PPS Group and A&D stakeholders.
    • To ensure member experience in everything operational within the Wealth Assistant team meets the objectives & requirements of A&D, Wealth Managers and the Wealth Advisory function.
    • To ensure cross divisional collaboration and adoption of new ways of working
    • To ensure ongoing effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. 
    • To monitor and manage daily activities of team members.
    • To train and develop team members and ensure sufficient capacity.
    • To drive continuous improvement of service delivery.
    • To engage bi–monthly with ASE operations on process changes, Pro-Fit, IAA and 
    • Service Manager matters.
    • To engage monthly with PPSI Operations on any changes, issues or development needed
    • To ensure the use of the selected financial planning is available for all new business, Compliance and Reviews.
    • Ensure that staff are all aware of operational best practices and implementing innovative technologies. 
    • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards in the division.
    • Manage support systems to ensure business continuity.
    • Training and development plans of all direct reports.
    • Develop & maintain all necessary process libraries, compliance sites and reporting repositories to maximize long term profitability. 
    • Conduct discovery meetings with Wealth Assistants and Wealth Managers to allow for continuous improvement in the area.
    • To ensure that daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly production has been captured with accuracy.
    • Attend and participate on behalf of Wealth Advisory various committees and forums both within A&D and across Group.

    Service Levels:

    • To process new business and Wealth Manager service requests within a 90% SLA.

    Queries and Query resolution:

    • Answer, resolve and own all queries end to end for Wealth Managers through their  Wealth Assistants.
    • Accountable for direct queries presented by Wealth Managers.
    • To ensure high quality of service to Wealth Managers; actioning of queries within 8 
    • working hours; provide service to Wealth Managers within 8 working hours (e.g. portfolios and quotes).

    • Creating efficiency in terms of ways of work and designing workflow solutions
    • Role Profile: Wealth Advisory – Practice Consultant
    • Ensuring a KIT program is followed
    • Driving compliance and annual reviews
    • Delivery of support to enable growth of the practice
    • Ensuring system availability at all times – FNA, CRM, Commspace, Workflow
