To provide assistance to on any aspects regarding condition monitoring techniques and data collection. To perform minor maintenance on equipment to prevent failures.
Key Accountabilities
Carry out the Predictive maintenance strategies / plans within the business unit that optimise to ensure machine availability is at an optimum for production.
Adherence to Predictive maintenance program plan vs. actual per department.
Ensure that work standards are met according to quality, quantity and due dates.
Manage complex schedules and communicate possible delays in meeting deadlines.
Ensure work is completed as planned.
Manage own work planning and delivery according to targets.
Department operating within budget (Budget / Actual).
Monthly Predictive maintenance reports, including list of equipment of being running for 50 days and inform the enduser of the status.
Discuss progress, exception reports, follow-up actions at agreed business unit forums.
Report on progress, corrective action, make information available in format as agreed by the Turbo Monitoring department.
Improve present way of doing work by continuously asking questions.
Makes suggestions to optimise equipment, systems and processes.
Share and implement new ideas regarding work.
Must be able to balance in the field.
Must have rotated to the low speed balancing and passed a test piece.
Monitor the performance of new technology and report back.
Must have some understanding of test system.
Achieve safety and risk objectives.
Apply safety in all practices, specifically project planning and execution.
Ensure safe project execution and implement safe work procedures.
Resolve work obstacles and issues positively and quickly.
Review compliance and follow up against the standards and objectives.
Develop suitable technical proposals based on practical and theoretical knowledge.
Apply and comply with all legal and company standards, procedures and methods.
Establish a network of internal and external experts to consult and guide when necessary.

Participate in engineering governance bodies (standardisation committees).
