    Premium Admin Team Leader

    Position Overview

    • To ensure the Automatic and Facultative business is administered appropriately and accurately in line with treaty specifications onto Ira.
    • Lead, develop and coach a team of Operation Analysts.
    • Ensure all premium accounts received by RGA SA are processed within the stipulated treaty timeframes.
    • Maintain process documentation and ensure the team is following procedures.
    • Maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
    • Work closely with other RGA teams specifically Finance and Valuation.
    • Assist in identifying client reviews and contribute towards the planning.
    • Ensure controls are in place to confirm that the business being processed on the system is accurate.
    • This role may be based in Cape Town or Johannesburg.

    Responsibilities

    • Administration
    • Ensure that the administration of all business adheres to RGA treaties.
    • Processing of clients on Ira from end to end.
    • Running of premium models for applicable clients.
    • Ensure premium sox documents are up to date.
    • Ensure administration processes are documented.
    • Ensure administration data is provided to retrocession clients in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Contribute annually towards selecting clients for Client Assurance Reviews.
    • Provide information for ad-hoc queries to internal and external clients.

    Requirements

    Qualifications And Experience

    • Minimum Grade 12
    • Completed Bachelors Degree an advantage
    • Life insurance knowledge and experience is a must with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Reinsurance/Insurance
    • Management experience with a minimum of 3 year’s experience
    • Proven experience of mentoring and guiding junior staff
    • Proficiency in Excel
