Primary Healthcare Specialist and Project Manager at Epicentre Health Research

About the job

Epicentre is looking to fill a new role where you will be required to explain various laboratory testing options to clients as well as build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will also be required to train staff in your region as well as our other regions on laboratory tests. There is also a project management element where you will supervise the planning and implementation of our various health research projects. The ideal candidate therefore has the following characteristics:

• Tertiary Qualification in General Nursing
• Registration with SANC
• BHF registration
• Understanding of lab tests and an understanding of Pathology
• Driven and results orientated
• Able to meet deadlines
• Excellent Planner
• 2-3 years experience practicing as a Registered Nurse or Primary Health Care Practitioner
• 2-3 years experience in Phlebotomy and/or Pathology

Essential Competencies:

• Knowledge of community health nursing, primary health care and/or occupational health nursing, pathology and counselling.
• Understand the financial implications of meeting or not meeting monthly targets
• Emotional intelligence, strong ability to manage people and entrepreneurial spirit
• Self motivated with excellent time management

• Valid drivers license and own transport
