Key Responsibility Areas:

• Controls the Records Section and all assets therein by ensuring that files are properly and safety kept.
• Controls the implementation of a systematic transfer and disposal programme.
• Liaising with the Archives division and maintaining a master copy of the filing system in terms of the relevant legislation.
• Obtaining of disposal authority and the distribution or transfer of qualifying material to the National Archivist.
• Provides administrative support to the Administration Officer and the whole directorate.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 2 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and a certificate in the Administrative field.
• 3 Years relevant experience.
