Principal Professional Officer - Talent Management at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• A minimum of a B Degree in Organisational Psychology or in Behavioural Sciences or equivalent
• Eight (8) years’ relevant experience in Talent / Human Capital Management ideally as an industrial and organisational psychologist
• Specialist level knowledge in OD with proven competence in integrated talent management

Key Performance Areas

• Developing and implementing the talent management framework in support of the People Strategy
• Providing a professional advisory and consulting service to line management on talent management processes, tools and best practices
• Coordinating the establishment of a monitoring and evaluation system of talent metrics
• Implementation of the People Management Framework including people practices to attract, engage, develop and retain talent
• Developing and facilitating of Strategic Workforce Plans, succession plans and competency frameworks
• Planning, leading and controlling Talent and OD events, interventions and projects including support to talent forums
