A relevant three-year tertiary qualification, preferably a Diploma/ B degree in Property Management/ Build Environment or related Admitted conveyancer
Eight (8) years’ or more relevant experience in property management at middle management
A valid driver’s licence
Computer Proficiency in MS Office.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO THE ROLE:
Physically fit and able-bodied for site inspections.
Key Performance Areas
Manage the conveyancing functions for the acquisition and disposal of properties to ensure compliant, effective and efficient transfers
In consultation with the relevant officials in the Department, assist with drafting sale/lease contracts of City land as approved
Advise on immovable property and related legislation to guide, influence decisions and negotiations to the benefit of Council and the relevant stakeholders
Improve and facilitate cooperation between departments to ensure accurate information dissemination and timeous responses to queries and assist in maintaining the City’s integrity and ensuring compliance with the legislative framework.
