Job Description
Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Principal SAP Materials Management (MM) Functional Analyst to lead and execute SAP MM implementations, system configurations, and integration with Financial Accounting (FI). The ideal candidate must have a strong background in SAP MM, Material Ledger (ML) configuration, and S/4HANA integration, ensuring accurate costing and inventory valuation.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of SAP experience.
• SAP MM Certification (proof of SAP FI Certification required upon CV submission).
• Successful track record of completing more than 5 SAP implementations.

Core Skills & Responsibilities:

• SAP MM System Configuration & Set-up: Design, configure, and optimize SAP MM functionalities to meet business requirements.
• Analysis and Solution Implementation: Conduct business process analysis and provide optimized SAP MM solutions.
• Project Execution: Lead and support full lifecycle SAP MM implementations and enhancements.
• Material Ledger (ML) Configuration & Integration: Ensure ML activation, periodic revaluation, and costing run processes are effectively managed.
• S/4HANA Material Ledger & Universal Journal Integration: Align MM functionalities with ACDOCA for financial reporting and analysis.
• Costing Transition: Facilitate the shift from standard costing to actual costing using ML in S/4HANA.
• Ariba Implementation & Support: Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Ariba integration will be an advantage.
• Documentation & Workshops: Conduct workshops, create blueprint documentation, and develop process diagrams and functional specifications.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users, finance teams, and technical consultants to ensure seamless integration and system functionality.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong expertise in Material Ledger configuration and actual costing processes.
• Experience with S/4HANA migration and Universal Journal (ACDOCA) integration.
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory management best practices.
• Previous experience in Local Government is highly beneficial.

Additional Information:

• It is strongly recommended that the candidate resides in Cape Town or is willing to relocate.
• The role may require occasional travel for workshops and implementation projects.
