    Process Controller I x2 - Upington Dried Fruit Plant

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor & adjust gauges and instruments
    • Record changes in utilities & raw materials on log sheets
    • Operate a section of a process plant
    • Ensure safety, health & hygiene
    • Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance and product quality
    • Report machinery and equipment faults
    • Perform regular maintenance by Identifying and correcting minor errors in the equipment and cleaning on laser Sorting Equipment
    • Program and optimize laser sorting processes

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12, or Equivalent Qualification
    • 2-5 years production/ Maintenance experience in FMCG environment
    • Experience in food processing and packaging
    • Health and safety standards
    • Effective communication within technical contexts
    • Problem Solving
    • First Line Maintenance will be advantageous
