Process Engineer - Automotive

Are you an experienced professional in the automotive industry and looking for a new challenge? The candidate for this position will be reporting to the Process Engineering Manager and will be responsible to ensure that customer requirements are met with regards to geometry and quality of the product delivered. 

Knowledge required

• Quality systems and concepts
• Manufacturing processes
• Customer Specific Requirements
• Understanding of Measuring Report (metal pressings, robotic automotive assemblies)
• Core Tool: FMEA, SPC, MSA & Control plans

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12/NQF level 4
• Tertiary qualification in TQM
• ND or Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• Qualified Toolmaker will be an advantage

Practical Job-related experience requirements

• Min 5 years of Quality or Process Engineering experience within the automotive environment.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience within the automotive environment.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in the use of Quality Core Tools: SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control plans
