Job Description

• An industry leader in the packaging/manufacturing sector is seeking a qualified Process Specialist with extensive Blow moulding experience, based in Pinetown. Reporting into the Plant Manager.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor extrusion blow moulding machines to produce packaging components efficiently and to quality standards.
• Set up, adjust, and optimise machine parameters for different production runs.
• Perform mould changes, mould maintenance, and basic tooling management.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimise downtime and maintain consistent output.
• Apply knowledge of HDPE and PP material characteristics to ensure correct processing conditions.
• Conduct routine process checks, quality inspections, and process optimisation activities.
• Maintain a safe, organised work area and follow all manufacturing procedures and standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to blow-moulding processes and equipment performance.

Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:

• Matric
• N4 relevant qualification would be advantageous
• Millwright, Mechanical or Toolmaking Trade Test is a must
• Minimum 5 years' experience within a FMCG manufacturing industry
• Minimum 3 years hands on extrusion blow moulding experience is essential.
• Hands on experience in production with processing and problem-solving skills
• Must have experience with Injection Moulding or Blow moulding but Blow moulding is preferred.
