    Procurement & Supply Chain Graduate

    The Role

    • You will own the international purchasing and supply chain function end-to-end. This is not a support position — you will manage the full PO lifecycle from supplier placement through to landed cost, coordinate with European vendors and freight partners, and be the operational backbone of our import pipeline. You work directly with the Managing Director and have real visibility across the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the full PO lifecycle: raise, track, confirm, expedite, and close orders across the brand portfolio
    • Coordinate with European suppliers (Germany, France, Italy, Spain) on lead times, production, packing, and shipping documentation
    • Liaise with our freight forwarder on shipment bookings, consolidations, and customs clearance
    • Manage import documentation: invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, SARS permits
    • Track shipments from ex-works through to landed delivery
    • Coordinate international payments via Bidvest Bank; maintain landed cost calculations
    • Maintain the purchasing module in ERP — POs, receipting, vendor bills, landed cost journals
    • Build and maintain supplier relationships; support vendor negotiations on pricing and terms

    What We're Looking For
    Essential

    • CIPS Graduate Diploma (Level 6), or final level in progress
    • Solid understanding of international procurement: Incoterms, import documentation, landed cost
    • Strong written English — you will correspond directly with European vendors daily
    • Numerically confident across multi-currency POs, exchange rates, and cost buildup
    • Highly organised; able to manage multiple open orders simultaneously
    • Proficient in an ERP or procurement system

    Advantageous

    • Experience in commercial kitchen, hospitality equipment, or food service
    • Knowledge of SA import regulations, SARS customs, or ITAC permits
    • A second European language (French, German, Italian, or Spanish)
    • Familiarity with Letters of Credit or trade finance instruments

    You as a person

    • You take ownership and don't wait to be chased
    • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
    • You understand that accuracy and follow-through are non-negotiable
    • Commercially aware — you know every purchasing decision has a margin consequence
