Product Designer at Tripplo Software

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Product Designer to manage the full design process for the Tripplo software platform. You will have a clean design slate to work from where you will build the design capability from the ground up and create a sustainable model for design. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with product, technical and business teams to tackle complex and abstract problems.

Responsibilities

• Own the design process end to end, bringing to life the customer experience and the business vision/mission.
• Articulate a clear POV on Tripplo and ways in which design can be applied to address challenges.
• Create information architecture, personas, blueprints, user journeys, experience maps, sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, micro-interactions.
• Define and document design processes. Be an ambassador of the value of User Centric-Design and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Research and testing will be embedded into your process. Translate insights into actionable design items. You will use tools and methods that help move forward quicker, faster and with confidence.
• Experience facilitating conversations between the different stakeholders (Product, Design, Development…) and organising workshops to achieve shared understanding.

ABOUT YOU

• Any Bachelors degree, Bootcamp or self taught coursework.
• 1 – 2 Years’ experience in a similar role - this is a junior role withing the tech team.
• A portfolio showcasing some of the projects you’ve worked on.
• Knowledge and expertise on Experience Design: user research, UX Flows, wireframes, prototyping, testing, etc.
• Good understanding of UX/UI disciplines. Proven experience in interaction design. Able to prototype and animate design solutions.
• Experienced with using Figma to create and maintain design systems
• Good understanding of how to design products across multiple touchpoints: website / app (web and native) technologies.
• Experience working and contributing to design systems and brand guidelines.
• Intense focus on production value, attention to detail and appreciation of craft
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment or to operate at an individual level.
• Solution-oriented mindset. You make sense of a problem space by proposing and trying solutions. You can think creatively and are resourceful
• Constantly supporting the role of product design on the Product Development process
• Support new talent hire and development of junior members of the team.
