    Product Manager

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our Business Improvement Team. This role is critical in establishing a management layer to support the scaling of our team and ensure the efficient delivery of multiple initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business process engineering and management experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • At least 5 years’ management experience; senior level product development or product manager/owner 
    • 3+ years’ experience managing, developing and delivering a product previously.
    • Manage a team of 5-8 business engineers, focusing on people development, upskilling, and quality assurance.
    • Integrating business and technical product segments to achieve objectives, delivery and targets.  
    • Oversee the delivery of multiple initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.
    • Engage with senior stakeholders, managing risks, blockers, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
    • Conduct technical reviews and support the team in maintaining high-quality work standards.
    • Manage business value for all initiatives, ensuring the right return on investment and value addition to the business.
    • Handle administrative tasks, including monthly reports, performance appraisals, and annual business planning.

    Minimum Knowledge

    • Proven experience in business process engineering or business improvement.
    • Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and support a team.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
    • Experience in conducting technical reviews and ensuring quality assurance.
    • Familiarity with business value management and ROI analysis.

    Minimum Education

    • A relevant teritiary qaulification in Engineering, i.e. Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
