To perform this job successfully, the appointed individual must be able to perform each essential duty / key performance area satisfactorily. This list of key performance areas is not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time:
Responsible to plan, prepare, submit and ensure achievement of unit sales targets, growth and profitability targets – all of these to be set and determined in conjunction with National Sales Manager
Technical sales support – pricing and product information to regional Sales Teams
Responsible to meet sales growth/market share increase objectives for the identified brand; responsible for total sales process – introduction of product offering to new clients/ revisiting the product offering with existing clients, engage potential customers into the unison with Sales Managers to use appropriate selling skills and techniques to ensure it is converted into a sale/ to close the deals.
Responsible to ensure quality of customer interaction and service (develop and implement strategy to ensure proper/ scheduled cover of sales territory assigned, developing partnerships with and tailor-made solutions for clients; evaluation of own development needs and ensuring lack of knowledge/ skills are addressed )
Sound financial management of deals in line with budget and company strategic objectives (ensuring the quality of rental business activated is in line with the company objectives; ensuing order take targets; invoicing targets and GP targets are met; ensuring key administrative support functions are diligently executed, eg delivery and collection of contracts, ensure discounts are approved within limits; ensure site inspections are carried out etc.)
Preparation and presentation of reports as and when required.
Drive customer service and ensure all actions are in line with the company's vision and values.
Participate responsibility to growth department in line with company requirements.
Ability to develop and implement operational innovation.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally as and when required.
Interest to learn new skills related to Toyota Production System (TPS) and manage related projects internally and externally.
Ability to learn new skills related to AGV technology and manage related projects from quotation phase to commissioning and handover.
Maintain OEM relationships with various international partners.
