Product Manager at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• We are looking for a commercially driven Product Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of cleaning chemicals, equipment and paper products. The successful candidate will be responsible for product sourcing, supplier management, pricing, product launches, sales support and overall portfolio profitability.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12; relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Product Management or Category Management role.
• Experience specifically within cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment and/or paper products.
• Strong sales and relationship management experience.
• Experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Knowledge of product verification, certification and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with product launches, market positioning and go-to-market strategies.
• Strong commercial understanding of pricing, margins, profitability and ROI.
• Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the product portfolio to maximise sales and profitability.
• Source new products and manage supplier relationships and negotiations.
• Develop pricing strategies and maintain appropriate margins.
• Identify market opportunities, threats and trends.
• Drive successful product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
• Build relationships with key customers and support the sales team.
• Provide product training to sales teams and customers.
• Conduct product profitability and ROI analysis.
• Work closely with Supply Chain to resolve product availability and logistics issues.
• Support marketing campaigns, promotions and industry events.
• Monitor product performance and recommend product additions or rationalisation.
