- Manage all product management activities, departments and personnel involved in the Category for the Division.
- Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric
- Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing or related - essential .
EXPERIENCE
- 8-10 years working experience which includes:
- Product / category management experience at a senior level in the Telco/Audio Visual /Digital Appliances or FMCG industry
- Experience and a proven track record in the industry will be an additional advantage.

Analyse sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
- Develops, or participates with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the Company / BU.
- Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company.
- Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
Other Key Activities
- Establishes performance goals for product sales, sets direction (from a product perspective) for the sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
- Directs department(s) to achieve objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan.
- Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
- Develop and implement an effective strategic NPI, marketing and sales plan.
- Develop and maintain a strong work relationship with key opinion leaders and contacts with other relevant agents.
- Lead and influence a successful and experienced team of Product managers.
Monitor, analyse sales and market trends; and to take responsibility for:
1. Data analysis
2. Providing insights to the data, and business recommendations thereafter
3. Ensuring execution of the agreed recommendations
4. Reporting and feedback loop management
- Responsible for managing and controlling the Product Management budget
- Responsible for driving revenue and use learning’s from that experience to refine NPI, marketing & sales processes and to build an appropriate team;
- Attract, retain, train, and motivate a diverse PM team;
- Collaborate closely with the Head Quarters Product and Marketing teams, local Content & Services team and local Marketing teams on developing new products and services for our clients;
- Standard measurements will focus on actual sales, profitability, and growth percentage within the business unit. In addition, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new customers will be a key indicator of future success expectations;
