Production Machine Tester at Epiroc

Core responsibilities / expectations

• The purpose of this position is to ensure that our machines leaving PC to the customer meet the correct quality standards. Based on technical specifications, test and verify that the test object meets the set requirements regarding quality and function.
• The incumbent will be responsible for checking and verifying the product's properties.
• Create and close Action Lists
• Investigate deviations and be active in NCR generation
• Compilation of machine documentation in the MOL database
• Responsible for the approval of the product and its documentation according to the routine in the management system
• Report daily deviations
• Work with 5S - maintain order and use approved and calibrated production equipment.

Testing:

• Mechanics
• Electrical
• Hydraulics
• Driving characteristics (safety, ergonomics, function, quality)
• Pre-Acceptance
• Verification and execution based on international and national requirements/standards.

Competences, skills and experience

• Matric or equivalent
• Competent Millwright
• Product knowledge and experience in fault finding
• Knowledge in operating all AARD machines
• Safe lifting
• Safe driving of vehicle
• Computer literacy (Excel and Word)
• B driver's license
• Assembly experience and experience with pressure settings.
• Sufficient knowledge in the product areas one operates within to ensure the product's function and quality to the customer.
